The 2009 Zadar Open tournament was held on 12-19th December in Zadar, Croatia. 43 players competed in the main group, while 63 took participation in the U2300 section. GM Robert Zelcic claimed the first place by collecting 6.5 points from nine rounds, half a point ahead of the group of followers.
